Hi Hoppers! You make have found your way here from Teri Baxter's Blog.

The card also includes Barn Red Ink, Mocha Opaques, White Daisy blooms and accented with Sorbet and Cocoa ribbons.

The second item is a little Cardstock gift bag make with Smoothie Cardstock and Ink and accented with Pearl Opaques and a little ribbon. I simply found a pattern for the bag and sized it to fit the stamp.

September SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog and the CTMH Stamp of the Month hop! You may have found your way here from Krista Ritskes' blog.

The September SOTM is an adorable set for Halloween called 'Thriller". I thought a simple trick-or-treat bag would be perfect. There are 2 little "tricks" {haha - get it?}.

Trick #1: Create the matching ribbon using stamps from the set and Stazon ink.

Trick #2: Stamp skull image on white cardstock and again on a post-it note. Cut out the skull on the post-it and place over the first stamped image to create a mask. Using a foam tool and Gypsy Ink (one of the new yummy colors), pounce onto the cardstock. Remove post-it and see how the skull "pops".

Friendship Card - CTMH Clear Cards!

I like to use both the clear sections and covered sections of the card. For this card, I covered up the bottom half of the card front so that the upper half of the card inside will show through.

Card Front:
Card Inside:

· Notice the stamped image on the card inside is positioned that it shows when the card is also closed.
· A little heart was added under the card front layer. You can’t see this heart on the front but it is a nice little decoration when the card is open.
· The fact that the lower half of the card front is covered, you can add a personal message to the lower half of the card inside.

Card Front (open) and Back:

· Notice the CTMH double sided paper shows through all sides of the card.

New Product Blog Hop!

You have found your way to the Close to My Heart consultant blog hop featuring a variety of the new products that can be found in the Summer 2010 idea book. You may have landed here from Jennifer's blog.

For my project, I selected the Clear Cards. These cards are a nice weight and so much fun to work with.

I cut patterned paper (Topstitch Paper Packet) to fit the inside of the card and stamped "happy birthday" (stamp from Candlelight set). I used a fine line of liquid glass around the entire edge of the paper. Next, I took a strip of paper and adhered it to the card front. Using a sponge brush and acrylic paint, I edged the entire card with a thin line of paint. I added some ribbons by punching several holes through the card top and added a soft suede pinwheel embelishment.

Now, the hop continues over at Antoinette's Blog. Have fun and happy stamping!

April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

Welcome to the HOP! You may have found your way here from Debra's Blog. This month's SOTM is Flower Pot. What a cute set this is!

My first card this month was made by stamping the window and floral stamps in archival black ink. Using a waterbrush and inks to match my patterned paper, I colored my images. The piece is then cut-out, mounted on black cardstock (trimmed to fit) and add a few black mini brads.

My second card I stamped the floral clusters and pots and then watercolored the image using the same ink color.

It is time to move on with the hop so off you go to Tammy's Blog. Have fun!
